Roses Drawing Tutorial Part 1:
Begin by drawing the rose's center. Draw an irregualr oval and frame it with
wavy U shapes.

Thicken some of the wavy U shapes.This is the rose's core.

Start framing the core of the flower with wavy petals. Keep going until your
rose is as thick as you want it to be. |

Roses Drawing Tutorial Part 4:
Add some leaves and a stem.Rose leaves are a little bit jagged. Don't forget
to add some triangles to the stem for thorns.

It is time to color. For the petals, choose two colors. I used yellow and orange.
You could use red and pink or red and orange. Put the darkest color on the outside
of the petal and fill the rest of the petal with the lighter color. Use green for the stem
and leaves.

Use purple to create some shadows in between the petals. Use red to make some
shadows on the leaves. Choose some colors for the background and shade it in. |

Wet your brush with clear water and carefully smooth out your colors. Once dry,
use permanent marker to outline the rose. |
