Suggested Drawing Supplies:
1. Setting the Placement
Begin the kitten by drawing an oval. Draw one line vertically down the middle, and one line horizontally. The horizontal line should be a bit more towards the bottom of the oval. These lines will help with the placement of the facial features.
2. Setting the Placement

3. Eyes
For step three, draw two circles for the eyes. These circles should not be round, though; the inside of the circle should point in, much like an upside down egg. The tips of the eyes should touch the horizontal placement line right above the nose.
4. Cheeks and Ears
Start the ears by drawing two, wide and curved triangles. Notice how the vertical placement line is centered between the two ears. Also, don't forget the folds along the ears, which all cats possess. Once the ears are placed, extend the round cheeks, giving them a fuller and cuter look.

6. Inking
For this step, take a black pen, marker or sharpie and trace over all the lines that you wish to keep. Pay close attention to the areas in the eyes, where the shine overlaps in the left eye, and the small spaces between the head and the ear. Those should not be marked.
7.Erasing
The next step is simple: erase all of the pencil lines. Be sure to give your marker or pen a few moments to dry, as to not smear any of the ink.
8. Final Touches
For the final touches, color in the pupils of the kitten's eye. Next, add a few marks on each cheek and forehead, to give the kitten's fure some texture and design. These don't need to be perfect: a few squiggles along the side will do just fine. Also, add some color to the top of the ears. Once that is complete, you are done!
